Richie & Palmetta
Epoxy resin hardcoat over foam. Each raccoon is painted with acrylic paint, UV varnished, and then the piece is embellished with 10,000 Swarovski rhinestones. The sculpture includes steel laser cut butterflies and a steel and fiber butterfly net, all embellished with rhinestones. It is mounted on a .5″ steel platform. Richie and Palmetta raccoon were installed at the Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital, Columbia S.C. in May, 2008. Approx. 84″ x 84″.

12′ x 5′ diameter each. 170,000 Swarovski rhinestones, fiberglass, acrylic, mixed media. Cow Parade, New York (Plaza Hotel) and Houston, (Galleria) 2000, 2001. Installed in the lobby of the Texas Children’s Hospital, Houston, TX.
